Definitions of Pagan
Pagan is defined as anything from a heathen to a country dweller. To me it means someone who honors and respects the Earth and all that dwell upon it. It means following a pathway that is based on acknowledging one's own actions and taking the consequences for those actions. I believe that a Pagan creates their own reality. It is not what happens, it is the response to what happens that matters the most. A Pagan may acknowledge the existance of deities depending on their pathway, but they do not hold those deities responsible for what happens to them, nor do they believe that they are doomed to an endless existance of misery because they screw up once in a while. Or, for that matter, even if they screw up a lot. Maybe Pagans are people who still see the "magic" all around them, and use that magic to create those things that they want or need into their lives.. Anyway.. that is Paganism in a nutshell as I see it. Love and Light.. Linda
