The Goddess
I know that the final reason I settled into Paganism.. mostly from a Wiccan perspective.. although I do incorporate many other traditions... is the Goddess. I don't see what ever higher power exists out there as a male or a female, but I don't have any trouble picturing that power as a beautiful and benevolent Goddess. I find it much easier, as a woman, to relate to a feminine Deity, and I think this may be true for many women who are Pagan. I am not Dianic, but I do lean more toward the Goddess than I do the God. But, I can also find my balance with both energies. Sometimes I find that I draw upon those God characteristics of logic and simplicity (meaning cut to the quick of the problem) to survive in my work day world. I guess it just makes sense to me to see divinity in all of us.. both female and male of the species. We are all in essence Gods and Goddesses. Love and Light... Linda
